Gospel: Luke 1.1-4; 4.14-21

Theme:  We are one body in Christ. Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

Commentary:  In our first reading Ezra reminds the people to be joyful and to share with those who are in need. He reminds us that “the joy of the Lord is our strength”. Our second reading reminds us that we are not alone and that each person is an important part of the church, just like every body part is important to the whole body.
