Theme: Through our baptism in Christ, we become heirs in hope of eternal life. 
Commentary: Today, we remember an extraordinary moment in the life of Christ. It is an encounter with John the Baptist, God the Father, the Holy Spirit, Jesus and his many followers. While Jesus’ baptism was symbolic in that he was without sin, it was a moment that God’s voice proclaimed Christ as beloved son.
